Our story
For the womanwho does everything.

Pleats & Plissé started with one frustration: why does looking put-together in Lagos have to mean being uncomfortable?
We wanted clothes that could survive a full day: an early meeting, a long drive, a sharp turn into a friend’s birthday dinner. Clothes that breathe in the heat, forgive a big lunch, and still look intentional in the 8pm photo.
Pleats turned out to be the answer. They move when you move, they flatter without clinging, and done right they never need ironing. So we built a whole wardrobe around them.
Who we dress
Bankers and bakers, new mums and grandmums, the friend who always gets asked “where did you buy that?” She’s 22 or 45, a size 6 or a size 24, in Ikeja, Port Harcourt or Peckham. She has a lot going on, and her clothes shouldn’t add to it.

Craftsmanship
Every pleat, on purpose.
Each style starts as a paper pattern and is fitted on real bodies from XS to 3XL. Our plissé fabric is pleated under heat and pressure, so the folds are set for life. Then every piece is checked by hand: seams, hems and pleat lines. If it isn’t right, it doesn’t go out.

What we promise
01
Comfort is not optional
If you can't sit through a three-hour service or a Third Mainland crawl in it, it doesn't leave our studio. Soft waists, breathable fabrics, no scratchy seams.
02
Every body, same care
XS to 3XL in every Pleats & Plissé style. We fit each pattern on real women across the range, not just one sample size scaled up.
03
Pleats that last
Our plissé is heat-set, so the pleats are permanent. Wash it, pack it, sit on it. It comes back looking fresh and needs no iron.
04
Made to be worn often
We design pieces you'll wear forty times, not four. Fewer, better clothes are kinder to your wallet and to the planet.
